Stardoll.COM… kikay site

Posted by: applesh on: April 6, 2007

I wish I were 13 years old.

Even if I am not, I still found it fun navigating through this cool dress up community site called Stardoll.COM. I had to borrow my sisters login information so I could get into the site.

Its the newest craze among young and teenage girls aged 7-17 (supposedly). But I can relate to the what the site is all about. Its like having your own Barbie doll. And in this case, it would be a whole community of Barbie dolls.

Let’s face it, kids these days know more about computer and the internet than most adults do so this is an ingenius way to have kids enjoy the internet and at the same time pacifying parent’s worries about inappropriate material. The site has a guide for parents and addresses questions parents may have on the site and how it is used.

Now I wish I had a girl… hmm. It would surely be a mother-daughter bonding moment to try and dress up Angelina Jolie in very stylish or grubby clothes. I dont expect a lot of other parents to agree but I do love the site myself and wish I could work on its stuff more.

Here are some of the stuff I got to make…. LOL

This is called the me-doll.

And you can dress it up this way…or that way.

There are jewelry, accessories, sceneries… oh did I mention, there are male dolls too?

So moms – see this site and check if you are interested in having your kid join a friendster-like community without the risk of exposing them to adult content.

Check out Stardoll.COM now!

Cool!!! I’d surely visit this site once I return all the comments on my blog hehe. Ayos, time killer.

@shari
- it is cool! go visit! :)

off topic…nakapartner mo na pala sa tourney si Maribee…she’s my friend =)

@Girlie
- Ay talaga? :) Yep, weve partnered up a lot of times na nga e. But I havent been playing lately. :)

we used to play sa pinoybadminton…kaso tinamad nako when i started to love belly dancing. i’m back to playing though, kasi my son is interested in playing, part of his “i want to be slimmer” routine =)

funny pa nga eh, i learned from her too na wife ka pala ni chris haravata =) (assumption lang ha), she gave me your full name, hehe

@girlie
- I used to be an active member of pinoybadminton too. I played with at Galaxy, Westdrive and with the Makati Smashers. A lot of my friends are part of that group. I met Chris (my husband) while playing badminton. :)

Inggit ako! Nagbebelly dancing ka! Basta dancing, interested ako. But these days, there are other things I need to focus on so badminton na lang muna yung extracurricular ko. Siguro some time I might get to try it too. :)
